Bio: Information Technology Expert Rich Schierer

Rich Schierer’s career in computers started back in 1994 when he became frustrated while dealing with the Tech Support department for the company from which he had purchased his new computer from. Due to a lack of ‘listening’ by numerous Tech Support Representatives and the subsequent resolution by a non-technical person, Rich became aware that computers weren’t so complicated; you just had to ‘listen’ to people and ask the right questions. From that point on he decided that he could and would do better and set out to find training.

Today Rich shows companies how to take advantage of their present technology and streamline their business processes. In fact, he used to do exactly that for the companies that he has worked for over the past 12 years!

As an Information Technology consultant and professional, he works with small and medium sized business owners showing them how to use current technology to their advantage and by ‘listening’ to how they do business, what their processes are and the problems that they are having with their present technology. He then creates a road map on how technology can be used to streamline business tasks.

Rich sits on a number of committees is a valued member of several local associations and thoroughly enjoys helping spread the word on how technology can be very simple if you just ‘listen’ to your customers and business associates!
